Underwater shower-massage in radon water is one of the most effective methods of hydrotherapy in the trade union sanatorium “Khmilnyk”. It combines two healing factors at once — a radon bath and a water jet massage. This unique combination provides pronounced analgesic, anti-inflammatory action, increased blood and lymph circulation, activation of metabolism, reduction of muscle tension, restoration of spine function and joint mobility, improvement of general well-being. In addition, it helps to achieve excellent results in the correction of fat deposits.
Indications for an underwater shower-massage in radon water:
- diseases of the musculoskeletal system;
- diseases of the peripheral nervous system (neuritis, etc.);
- neurocirculatory dystonia;
- hypertensive disease of the 1st century;
- diseases of arteries and veins;
- gynecological problems;
- skinpathologys (hyperkeratosis, neurodermatitis);
- depression, neurasthenia, sexual neurosis;
- cellulite, local fatty deposits;
- decrease in elasticity and elasticity of the skin and muscles.
Ontraindications to underwater shower-massage:
- pregnancy;
- acute infectious diseases;
- pustular skin diseases;
- acute disorders of cerebral circulation;
- hypertensive disease II-III stage,
- ischemic heart disease 2-3 stage, arrhythmia;
- malignant neoplasms.
The total duration of the procedure is 15-20 minutes, every other day.
The course of treatment is 8-12 baths.
