The “Khmilnyk” trade union sanatorium, which has no less unique natural wealth, has taken a confident step towards world recognition. The sanatorium was awarded the solid international award “The best health resort of 2010”, founded by the most representative community of spa specialists – the World Federation of Water and Climate Treatment (FEMTEK), which united scientists and practitioners from Italy, France, Japan, Korea, China, Cuba, Turkey, Russia and many other countries.
The winner’s diploma was presented to OleksandrGalachenko, the chief doctor of the “Khmilnyk” sanatorium, within the framework of the FEMTEC International Scientific Congress and the 63rd General Assembly, held in the resort city of Hammamet (Tunisia) from November 1 to 5.
This award is the result of the team’s long and painstaking work on implementing various methods of radonotherapy, improving the material, medical, diagnostic and scientific base. And the scientific and research opinion in the “Khmilnyk” sanatorium does not sleep! This was confirmed by a thorough report presented at the congress, which sheds light on new aspects of the mechanism of radon’s action on the body.
