The numerous arsenal of radon procedures of the TRADE UNION SANATORIUM “KHMILNYK” allows you to choose an individual solution for each of our patients (taking into account the localization of the problem, accompanying diseases and other factors).
In this regard, we actively use 4-chamber bathtubs – a design that consists of 2 separate chambers for legs and 2 for hands. At the same time, such a bath has an effect on the whole body!!!
Under the influence of mineral radon water, pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects are clearly manifested, metabolic and trophic processes, regeneration in the peripheral and central nervous system are stimulated, and blood clotting is reduced. Weakening the spasm of peripheral vessels, a local radon bath improves microcirculationand neuromuscular conductivity.
This bath is suitable even for those who cannot take general baths due to their health condition!
A 4-chamber radon bath is used in the treatment of:
- chronic inflammatory and dystrophic affected joints,
- peripheral paresis and paralysis,
- polyneuroangiopathy (especially diabetic),
- some forms of rheumatism,
- vasoneurosis,
- post-traumatic conditions,
- restless legs syndrome, convulsions and decreased limb muscle tone,
- myofascial and tunnel syndromes,
- obliterative endarteritis.
The course of treatment consists of 8-10 procedures.
